Big Data Knowledge Sharing Session
Big Data is one of the hottest topic in the IT industry in the recent years. People has started to realize the power and the potential of Big Data that can make huge impact in the way we do things. But what is the underlying concept of Big Data? How can we make use of Big Data? What is the advantages and the pitfalls of Big Data?
All of those questions are being thoroughly answered in the Knowledge Sharing Session – Special Session on Big Data, which was held on November 1, 2016 at the Overcomer Hall, APL Tower, Podomory City. Knowledge Sharing Session (KSS) is a routine activity for the benefit of AdIns Employees, where one or two Employees step forward to share their knowledge to their peers, whether it is technical stuff or more casual topics such as travel and culinary topics. On special occasion, we are inviting people from outside the organization to broaden our knowledge.
This time, AdIns is having the honor to welcome Professor Jennifer Widom from Stanford University School of Computer Science as our guest speaker. Professor Widom is an expert in the Big Data and Machine Learning topics in Stanford University, and has shared her knowledge to countless students across America, Asia, Africa and Europe.
In this fun and informative evening, AdIns Employees and guests are learning the history of Big Data, what is the underlying technology behind Big Data, its use, its advantages, and its challenges. AdIns as a solution for multifinance believes by conducting this kind of sharing, it can add values to our company quality. The session concludes with a lively question & answer session that seems to last forever due to the enthusiasm of the attendees.
