WEBINAR VIRTUAL JOB FAIR 2020 PARAHYANGAN CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY: “Essential Ingredient for A Great Career” By AdIns

On Tuesday, November 17th, 2020, AdIns attended a virtual job fair as an industry partner organized by the Learning & Career Development Institute, Parahyangan Catholic University, from 13.00 – 15.00 via Zoom. This activity is a routine that aims to broaden the insight of students about the real world of work. 

This event started with an opening speech by Mr. Yulio Abedninggo from the Talent & Career Development Division, Parahyangan Catholic University. Then, continued by Mr. Daniel Adhinugraha W. as Director of AdIns Center of Excellence with the topic “Essential Ingredients for A Great Career.” 

In this webinar, Mr. Daniel Adhinugraha shared many things about the world of work, how companies select their employees, what assessments companies use to select employees, and how to pick good companies. Also, he explained how to recognize self-potential and try to consistently and actively develop themselves and improve their performance. Moreover, some tips and tricks as well as motivation were given by him. 

This topic is, of course, necessary information for students, especially final year students and alumni. During the webinar, Mr. Daniel also gave several quizzes so that the participants were more interested in listening to what Mr. Daniel said. Participants were excited to ask questions and discuss and share their experiences. 

We know that in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic, finding work is a challenge in itself, where space for movement and social activities are limited. With the Virtual Job Fair webinar, this activity can help and make it easier for job seekers and companies to find prospective employees. Hopefully, with the implementation of this event, the participants who attend will be more ready to take part in the world of work and be able to have a positive impact on society.
