22 Years of Work, AdIns Held the 2022 AdIns Appreciation Day as a Form of Appreciation from the Company for all Longstanding Colleagues

As a commemoration of the company’s 20-year-long history, Adicipta Inovasi Teknologi (AdIns) held the 2022 AdIns Appreciation Day. This event was a form of appreciation from the company to its partners and colleagues who in the past 20 years have cooperated together with AdIns and entrusted the company as their reliable partner. 

The event that was held on 9 September 2022 in Hotel Raffles’ Grand Ballroom was organized successfully. Almost every invited guest was present at the event to celebrate the company’s 20 years of business. During the event, several IT solutions exhibitions were displayed as well to illustrate the company’s 20-year-long history. 

The success of the event was also attributed to several other partners’ contributions to supporting AdIns throughout the years. One such partner is Amazon Web Service (AWS) which has provided substantial support for the success of the event’s organizing.

AdIns’ Long 20 Years of History 

AdIns’ Managing Director, Guntur Gozali, utilized his opportunity as the main speaker of the event to describe the company’s struggle and journey since he founded the company in the year 2000. In full detail, he explained the numerous steps AdIns had to do to remain in business and as a trusted IT solution company for the sake of the IT system development of the company’s numerous partners and colleagues. 

Guntur admitted that he never expected his company to survive the harsh economic inflations, the unrelenting COVID-19 pandemic, and the numerous ups and downs of Indonesia’s economy. After 20 years of the company’s establishment, he made the resolve to hold the 2022 AdIns Appreciation Day as a form of appreciation for the company’s journey. 

The event, said Guntur, should have been held in 2020 if it were not for the COVID-19 pandemic during the past 2 years which postponed the event until 2022. Despite the setbacks from the pandemic, the event was organized successfully without any significant problems. 

“Three years ago, a friend came to the office to express his congratulatory remarks ‘Wow, it’s really awesome that AdIns is now officially 19 years old.’”. “I said it’s nothing before they continued ‘oh no, for a software house computer company, 20 years are no small feat’”, said Guntur as he started his presentation during the event. 

That small talk reminded Guntur of his humble beginnings when he founded the company years ago amidst all challenges and the desire to shut the business down during the company’s infancy. The fears were not unfounded, given IT companies’ notably high probability to undergo bankruptcy during volatile times, which is something that AdIns has managed to significantly avoid for more than 20 years. This fact is a notably commendable achievement.

BFI’s Support for AdIns’ Business Continuity 

AdIns owed much of its business continuity to the support of its partners and colleagues. One such partner is the Director President of BFI Finance, Mr. Francis Lay. The support from BFI is as such, that BFI Finance remains one of AdIns’ most loyal and longstanding partners over the years. 

During the company’s earlier years, Mr. Lay offered much of his support to Mr. Guntur and motivated him to remain focused on running his company despite the company’s infancy at the time 

“It is a long journey for AdIns to continue its business up until this point and to become the reliable partner of Indonesia’s digital payment industry”, said Guntur. 

During the event, Mr. Lay also provided several presentations and answers to questions offered during the Talk Show session. During the Talk Show,  Mr. Lay undisclosed his reason to start his partnership with AdIns, despite the company’s relative lack of inexperience and reputation at the time. 

“I had this gut feeling that this person (Guntur) is a man of integrity and entrepreneurship, which are important qualities within themselves, and he’s got things that he can do. He has the knowledge to make something into reality”, said Lay. 

“I think AdIns always need to have new solutions. And as you know, in BFI, we tried to get the consultants to hire the maintenance to ensure the system’s digital transformation. And that’s great”, said Lay as he expressed his hopes for AdIns’ enduring business.

AdIns’ Roadmap in the Middle of Digital Transformation 

In the next session, the Associate Director of AdIns, Mr. John Son delivered his presentation as well regarding the AdIns Digitalization Roadmap. In the presentation, he explained several methods that companies can do to survive the 4.0 Digital Revolution era and avoid obsolescence. 

Digitalization took place sooner than expected due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only is the banking sector affected, but small and medium enterprises (SMEs) are not starting to use the digitalization system to simplify their transaction processes. 

“Even the conventional PT Pos Indonesia decided that they don’t want to be left behind in the middle of mass digital transformation. And that’s the reality in Indonesia,” said Mr. John Son. 

AdIns, said Son, also continues to develop innovations to serve their partners and colleagues from different multifinance companies who aim for digital transformation. In this regard, several actions are undertaken to maintain the innovations’ security and speed to ensure their consecutive work. 

In the Talk Show session with the Director of AdIns, Mr. Setya Adi, and the Finance Director of WOM, Mr. Anthony Yuarez Panggabean, a discussion was held to discuss how the digital transformation took place faster for about two years. 

The transformation brings a significant impact on several companies in the industrial IT and multifinance sectors. As new technology is guaranteed to bring and spur changes, the demand for such technologies increases as well. 

“Previously, we didn’t know anything at all about TikTok, but now, we use it as well as the technology pushes us and the customers to rely on services that use similar technology to TikTok,” said Adi. 

The three hours-long events gave some new perspectives regarding the digital transformation over the past two years. At the end of the event, AdIns offered its appreciation in the form of award plaques to all attending colleagues and guests. 

The plaques were awarded as a form of gratitude from AdIns to all partners who have cooperated with the company over the past 20 years and ensured the company’s growth as one of the largest IT solutions companies in Indonesia.
